I have been a marketer for 28 years and finally, my moment has come, the one that will define all my career achievements. It is by far the best career accomplishment I have ever made, and it all started because I had a problem that needed to be fixed.

Have you ever wondered what a "reverse marketing manager" is?

Valentine's Day is traditionally all about showing that special someone how much they mean to you. You shower them with chocolate and love letters, maybe you even take them to a fancy dinner in the city. Oh, I can feel the love in the air already!
Ok, I’ve made the leap. I am now a ‘Marketing Eye’. Yes, I am a tad excited and I am really enthusiastic about what is to come.
Let me ask you something. If you go to a bar, and decide you are in the mood for a nice, quality vodka, which would you choose? Grey Goose or Ketel One?
When I look out at the people in our offices, I often wonder what is next. Will they go onto become marketing managers and chief marketing officers, or will they go down the route of social media or communications? Perhaps, they will be long-term marketing consultants, who thrive on producing outcomes for the clients they work with.

Now that's a bit harsh random because sometimes we don't get a good nights rest and that is life, however, it is important that no matter what, when we walk in the door of the office, we are putting our best foot forward. Looking your professional best, will always give people a good first impression - which means, that there are a few things you may like to avoid.

Female entrepreneurs are shaking up the business world in New York! One of the worlds busiest cities for success in being over thrown by the underdogs of society.

Women in the business are showing men how it's done, annihilating the female stereotype for delicate and poised women to their advantage and creating a storm in their firms.
As a high performing marketer I, Mellissah Smith, have some high performance days, and some that I could have done a little better by being more focused and better equipped to complete what was set out in front of me.

Who else feels like this? Last night I spoke to a friend in Los Angeles, we discussed our recent performance in the industry. We concluded that if you have 10 percent of the market, there is 90 percent that you don't have.
So how do you get that 90 percent?
As marketing intern, my initial perspective of what my experiences of the marketing world are may be minimal. However, I have witnessed many start-up businesses both succeed and fail during my time working as the underdog in my internship positions.
