Ok, I’ve made the leap. I am now a ‘Marketing Eye’. Yes, I am a tad excited and I am really enthusiastic about what is to come.
Why I Took A Leap Of Faith

I’ve been working in three different corporations in the field of marketing for the past seven (7) years, and finally I have taken the leap.

I have always wanted to own my own business, work the hours I want to work and build something from scratch.

I thought about starting a marketing company with my own brand and soon realized that those who do that are a dime a dozen and quite often struggle to make a living. Their struggle is real because to own your own business you need accounting, learning and development, sales, systems, processes and a network.

By the time you upload that new website that you are so proud of, you quickly realize that Google forgot to tell you (actually, you forgot to remember) that algorithms and rankings don’t happen at the speed you hope it will.

As a marketer, cold calling is terrifying and not your natural way of doing business.

That’s when I came across Marketing Eye Licensing on the Internet and straight away, I knew it was for me. From the time I called through to the signing the deal, I was excited. This is exactly what I want to do.

Marketing Eye’s process is:

Onboarding: This is beyond introductions, but it actually takes you through how to run a business, generate leads, use social media and upskill on all areas of marketing. I thought I knew a lot, but when they were teaching me how to put code on social media, and expand my network, as well as use digital marketing and automation to fast-track my process – I knew I was working with a team that were ahead of the game.

Ongoing support: If I have a question, someone will answer it for me. In fact, sometimes I just want to chat to someone or bounce an idea – and once again, they are the first to put their hands up and say “come have a coffee”. The ongoing training and development is second to none and proof reading my work is a god-sent.

Making money: I was on $95,000 in corporate, and I soon worked out that if I focused on getting one client per month for 10 months, that would equate to $300,000 per year – and still that is not a full-time job. If I cannot present Marketing Eye to enough people so that I get 1 client per month, in a way that resonates, then perhaps I shouldn’t be in marketing.

Upfront fee: $25,000 to have a global brand, marketing materials, systems, processes, technology and support – is way cheaper than doing all of this myself and trying to make a new brand stand out in a crowded marketplace where freelancers are a dime a dozen. It is simply the best investment I ever made.

Collaboration: Marketing Eye is about skill-sharing, job-sharing and a flat organizational structure. I love feeling part of the team and making my own mark in a world that is full of people with great business ideas who don’t know how to communicate what they have to offer. Marketing is the best career on the planet and now I have the opportunity to be a business owner (or as I prefer, entrepreneur) and do the one job I really love.

Have you always dreamed of starting your own marketing business? Are you ready to take that leap of faith? Start here.
